Dear Friends,

Another year has almost slipped by and that special season is upon us again. Christmas makes me think of the amazing fact that God Almighty (Isaiah 9:6) came down to live among men and to give His life that we might be redeemed. May the Gospel truth be real in each of our hearts as we remember Jesus' birth.

patrick 1 yearWe thank the Lord for His provision in our lives. I am involved in a Missionary Internship at our home church, People's Church. We thank them for their support and encouragement during this year of preparation. Both Lily and I are involved with the Junior and Senior Youth and are really enjoying it. Lily is taking Theology classes and is busy looking after Patrick. He just turned 1 1/2 years old on November 21 and he sure is a lot of fun!

We want to announce the posting of our own webpage on the Internet. With the help of a friend (or two) I was able to create a webpage to publish our prayer letters and share what God is doing in Missions with all who come across our page.
Check us out at:

You can send us an email from our webpage to tell us you visited.

Thank you for your interest in us and please continue to pray for us and the Ministry amongst the Quechua People. We are excited as God continues to guide us and show us His will every day.

"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the
Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you."

Greetings Friends,

God has been doing great things in our lives and we want to thank all of you who have prayed and continue to pray for us. We thank God for each of you who have supported us through your prayers and finances. May God bless you!

We had a wonderful trip to Bolivia in May. It was a blessing to spend time with family and friends and to be able to minister during that time as well. As a result of our trip, our desire to serve in Bolivia grew and our hearts were touched again. During the second week of June, we attended Pioneer's Candidate Orientation in Orlando, Florida. It was a great week of learning and encouragement. We have been appointed by Pioneers as Missionaries to Bolivia to work with the Quechua (KEHCH-wah). We praise the Lord for this time and are excited about what He will do.

Our summer has been full of ministry opportunities such as pulpit supply, speaking at a teen camp and a visit to the local jail to speak. We have sensed the Lord's leading in regards to committing the summer months to gaining more experience in speaking and message preparation.

Over the next year we will continue to prepare to return to Bolivia. Our target date is August of 2000. We are praying daily that God will raise up a team of people and churches to pray for and financially support God's ministry amongst the Quechua and people of Bolivia. We feel God's call to serve Him with the Quechua and would like to give you the opportunity to join the team dedicated to seeing Quechuas saved and discipled in God's Word.

Our verse of challenge as we look at the task ahead is found in
Proverbs 29:18.

"Where there is no vision the people perish..."

This means that where people have not heard God's revelation or have rejected it, they will be unrestrained, unprotected, unprepared and like sheep without a Shepherd. We have committed ourselves to be used of God to reach those who have never heard or have never accepted the Truth. Would you PRAY and ask God how He would use you to reach the Quechua?
