"Where There Is No Vision The People Perish…"
Proverbs 29:18

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the God of gods, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalm 136
:1-3

It is a joy for us to be able to share this update with you. We give thanks to God for what he is doing in our lives. After 6 months of being here in Canada on Home Assignment we have many areas in which to thank our God.

Many of you had been praying for Patrick and Andres and their adjustment to Canadian life and culture. Praise the Lord that Patrick is doing well in Grade 2 and Andres loves attending preschool twice a week. Both of these schools are a blessing to our children and family. Lily recently finished a course in Women's Ministries and plans to take other courses in the New Year. There is the possibility that Lily will travel to Bolivia in the near future to visit her mother who has not been doing well physically. Please be in prayer for this trip and for the health of Lily's mother, Daria.

We have been in many churches and homes over the past 6 months, sharing what God is doing in Bolivia. It is a blessing to have churches and individuals who stand behind us through their prayers and financial support. You are all a great encouragement to us. May God richly bless you all. It was also a blessing to share in churches that are new to us. We pray that God will lead and guide your church in their involvement in World Missions.

I (Greg) had the privilege of traveling to Bolivia in September with a team to distribute 1000 little red radios. We saw the hand of God in action as 880 radios were individually handed out and 120 radios were left with a Bolivian church to distribute in a remote village that they are involved in. Another trip is planned for March 2006 to Bolivia to distribute another 500 radios. Please be praying that God will form a team of Christians burdened with seeing others hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please be praying for the $500 per month ministry funds that we are lacking. We believe before God that we could be much more effective in ministry being fully supported. Pray that God will touch hearts to give towards this need. We also ask for prayer in regards to where we will live upon returning to Bolivia. There are options to be considered and we are waiting on the leading of the Lord.

We are thankful to God for you and the part that you play in the work amongst the Quechuas of Bolivia. May each of you have a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

July 2005

Dear Friends

We want to thank you first of all for your prayers as we made the transition back to Canada after being in Bolivia for 2 years. It was so great to see family and friends again and begin to visit the churches here in Canada. Our God heard your prayers and is helping us (especially the boys) adjust well.

It has been 6 weeks since we arrived and already the calendar is filling up with opportunities to give a report to our supporting churches and other interested folks. Thank you to all who contacted us, inviting us to share or to participate in Mission's conferences. If you have not contacted us and would like to, please use the e-mail or telephone number at the bottom of this letter. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for praying for Bolivia during its recent political problems and civil unrest. Pray for the upcoming presidential elections in August. Pray that Bolivia's Leaders will turn to God and let Him lead the country.

We thank God for good health through this whole move and transition. We would ask for your prayers for Patrick as he will go into grade two in September. Pray for him to do well in school and to make good friends. Please pray for us as a family as we travel to many churches that God will be our strength. Our prayer as we travel, sharing what God is doing in Bolivia, is that the North American church will be encouraged and challenged to get more involved in world missions. Please pray specifically for the Monthly Ministry funds that we are lacking of $500 that will enable us to do our work more effectively.

September of this year will bring an opportunity for a short trip to Bolivia in order to distribute more fix-tuned radios to Quechua People in remote areas of Bolivia. God has opened this window of opportunity through the donation of 2000 radios. We praise the Lord for this donation and pray that we would be good stewards of these radios and get them into needy hands as soon as possible. Pray for the Quechuas of Mamania and Andamarca that God would prepare their hearts to hear His word through these radios. If you would like to give towards the expenses of this trip, please contact us or PIONEERS at the applicable address below.

We are thankful to God for you and the part that many of you play in the ministry to the Quechua People through prayer and financial support. God will provide all that you need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Because of Him,

Greg and Lily Muir
