Dear Friends
It is wonderful to be able to write to you during our home assignment here in New Brunswick. We have been able to see many of you already and are encouraged by the visits and times spent with you. We have not had the chance to visit with others of you and want to ask your forgiveness for this. We will prioritize a visit to your church on our next home assignment in around 2 years.

We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new baby. The delivery has been scheduled for August 18th here at the new Waterville hospital near Woodstock, NB. Lily is doing great despite the humid weather but will be glad to be on the other side of the delivery. Thank you so much for all of your prayers for mother and baby during these months. As a family, we are taking it easy for the month of August to rest and truly enjoy the arrival of our baby. We will definitely be sending out news of the birth as soon as we come back down to earth after August 18th!

Even though we have been here in Canada for this home assignment, it has been great to keep it touch with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ in Bolivia. They continue to move forward with the ministries despite the social and political problems that exist in Bolivia. Please continue to pray for our co-workers in Bolivia.

One exciting thing of Ministry is the opportunity to share the Gospel with folks, both adults and children. An amazing way to do this in Bolivia is through the Wordless Book method, using colours to explain each part of the gospel message. We already use small books made of construction paper, yarn crosses and bracelets to do this. Patrick also participates in this ministry with groups of children and in the classrooms of countryside school houses. We have recently seen young people here in Canada that quickly make bracelets using embroidery floss. We think this would be an amazing craft for the children in Bolivia and would be a tool to evangelize the lost. If you would like to participate in this ministry, you can send embroidery floss to us to be taken to Bolivia and used in the ministry. We need the colours BLACK, RED, WHITE, YELLOW and GREEN. This is something that is relatively inexpensive and easy to pack in our suitcases. Please send the floss to OUR Canadian address (in red) found at the bottom of the letter. Thanks!!!

Thank you for your continued generous financial support of our family and ministry. We know that you sacrifice to give to missions and we pray that God will richly bless you. Thank you for the prayers that you lift up to the Lord on our behalf and on behalf of the Quechua People. Our God hears your prayers and is answering them according to his will.

In Christ,
The Muir Family
Greg, Lily, Patrick and Andres
